WOW...as a frequent guest at the real SBB I was totally shocked to see SBB represented inside Second Life which is a real virtual community on the web. The supposed "owner" of SBB inside Second Life (otherwise known as SL) claimed to be affiliated and totally endorsed by the real SBB here in Murrells Inlet....he is NOT. I spoke with the blessed owner tonight of the real SBB an he had no knowledge that SBB was being ripped off in such a fashion. They were also raising real money inside this virtual world for childrens charities in the name of SBB and stashing are for themselves..(call the FEDS please)

Feel free to create an avatar inside Second Life and see what I mean. Suck Bang Blow can be found by searching "groups" once you are "in world" but they have been kicked out of their land again. (thinking the land owners must be seeing the implications of a lawsuit pending)

Second Life is a true web based world. Some of you may have seen it as a part of a recent CSI NY episode that existed almost entirely within SL. My husband and I are very involved in SL and when we saw SBB there we had to look into it.

 I contacted the individula responsible for the SBB in SL.

While they did not have permission to use the name - there was no harm caused.

They did indeed raise some money for charity - but I have verified through Linden Labs - that the monies did indeed go directly to the charityies - Make A Wish Foundation and Bikers Against Child Abuse.

I am going to meet with this individual during the spring rally and work out a formal agreement to permit the use of the name and also beef up SBB's presence in SL.
